I heard that Bull Terriers are not a breed of 'pit bull'. In fact, I heard that people tried crossing a Bull Terrier with a pit breed and screwed the breed up...is a Bull Terrier really a pit bull breed or is it its own?

it's a completely seperate breed. there's the English Bull terrier, and then the miniature version. but it's still a 'bulldog' type and is still classed with the pits in Breed Specific legislation.
